The location of Singapore is strategic, right in the middle of South East Asia, and let local companies targeting specifically the huge Indonesian market. 

 

Even if Singapore attract many MultiNational Companies and entrepreneurs, it still not really for its innovation activity. For sure, the city is full of deep-pocket companies and the government heavily incentivizes innovation. However, the fact is that people there aren't really innovative yet. These programs aims at improving the brands innovation output while helping the startups to explore new verticals as well as new regional market thanks to Unilever's global localisation.

The members can also operate independently from Unilever, and still enjoy the really confortable place, and engage with a international community. Thanks to its international standing, the space has also attracted overseas delegations, like a Dutch university, to run bootcamps in Singapore.

Impact Hub

Part of the global network of Impact hubs, the one in Singapore counts two locations for hundreds of connected members. It doesn't mean that there are physically present on site, but they regularly attend events, and contribute in someway to the community.
