CEO @ 3D Matter Arthur is the first person I met in my journey, and his story is actually very close to mine. ​ Ex-consultant, he finally quit everything to found a 3D Printing Lab, with the democratization of the 3D printed parts as a mission. He is also part of the remarkable New Lab in Brooklyn. ​ I met Arthur after reaching him on LinkedIn.

General Manager @ Quartier de l'innovation Damien was a speaker during a event about Montreal innovation ecosystem. His talk convinced me to pay a visit to the Quartier de l'innovation ... until I got lost in the area. Lucky, I recognized the guy on my sidewalk, it was yesterday's speaker, Damien ! I briefly explained my journey to him and he kindly gave me good tips to find the best place in town for an innovation tourist.

CEO @ Transpod Inc. Sebastien has decided to make the Hyperloop a reality. Despite all the criticisms he could have received about its ambition and the competition he has to win against its loud US competitors, his team already demonstrate a very good design of the future system. I met Sebastien at MaRS Center (Toronto) after reaching him on LinkedIn.

CEO @ Otosense Sebastien previously developed a machine learning technology to help depth people. Now, his startup provides acoustic-based predictive tools to prevent products and industrial failures. Expanding its business very fast, he has now the ambition to be bring a mic to Mars for the first time in the History. I had known Sebastien before and paid him a visit in Palo Alto.

CEO @ Venn Agency Samantha is currently working on a way to enhance the WEB with new kind of VR-based experiences of websites. "Imagine you can actually walk inside websites, opening doors to change sites. Imagine also Zuckerberg's face following you with its cookies..." ​ I randomly met Sam at a Toastmaster session in Los Angeles.

Professor @ UC Berkeley Henry is an eminent person in the field of innovation. He was the first to describe the principles of Open Innovation. ​ Without really thinking I would meet him, I stopped by the Haas Business school office (UC Berkeley), where I actually met him at the coffee machine. He introduced me to his French collaborators and invited me to attend to his lesson with its MBA students.

Translator @ Tesla BingBing has a great position at Tesla. As a translator, her role is to accelerate the development of Tesla in China by helping technicians to understand documentations. Interpreting sometimes official visits, she has a stunning vision of Tesla, with both technical and economical aspects, especially regarding the Chinese market. I had with her one the best conversation of my trip, during my flight from SF to Beijing.

CEO @ Voler Creative Co-Founder @ Oculus Dillon has a carrer history many would dream of, and I knew nothing about that before meeting him... After successfully sold a software company, he was called to be one of the co-founders of Oculus. After another exit (2B$ -Facebook), it renounced to its juicy package and half its exit shares to found its own VR studio in Seoul, VoleR Creative. I met Dillon after reaching him on LinkedIn.

CEO @ Workshop Kim is the magician of manufacturing. With an extensive experience in China, he has recently founded the Workshop, to help foreign IoT entrepreneurs to benefit from the extraordinary ecosystem of Shenzhen in a reactive, reliable and confidential manner. With its team, they can save you time, money, and your ass in the the high-competitive IoT market. We have been introduced to each others by the Ju&Ke design team in Shenzhen.

Technical Lead @ Zipline Abdoul is the one you need to fix any technical problem. When he is not designing drone systems for blood delivery in Rwanda, he goes to hospital to fix MRI scanners, or to the villages to build PV inverters. His next step is to learning machine learning and computer vision. I foresee a bright future for him ! I met Abdoul after reaching him on LinkedIn.
