Cape Town

Considered as the most dynamic ecosystem of Africa, Cape Town has the flavour of San Francisco -- a rich city with a nice weather, and very attractive to talents. Hence the Silicon Cape's surname.
Many startups have actually established in the city, however, the ecosystem itself is still young -- coworking spaces are very fancy and comfortable yet little community-oriented and startup events are still not so frequent.
In a way, not sure whether the city tends to be a Silicon Valley like, I feel like they just prefer to enjoy its unique way of life and its incredible landscape. It will always be more Cape than Silicon.

Located at the core of the Waterfront area, Workshop 17 is part of a busy merchant and souvenirs’ wharf/mall.
The working space is absolutely awesome.

Maybe the most communityoriented space in town, the seedpace is also the landingpad for the seedstars team that does a great job in stratup promotion in emerging countries, especially in Africa.
