Beijing

This city is incredible for its contrasts, between old and new, ruined and sanitized, but overall, the city is fighting against all the challenges a nation like China might have. Environment, transportation, employment,... I feel like China has managed to bring a big part of its 1,3B inhabitants to the developed countries standards of living, and now has to solve the huge consequences of a forced pace growth. And Beijing, among other cities in China, seems to be the brain and the heart of this new era. An era of innovation, entrepreneurship, and societal changes.
