DMZ is a very successful tech accelerator in Canada. It has built a huge community of alumnis and offers premium services to its members. More than just the accelerator, the Ryerson has also establish the Digital Media Experience Lab that enables students and researchers to share a maker space and get some training on CAD design, or 3D printing. The projects are really cool (student dreams), it really worth to pay a visit.

This accelerator is far from Toronto, it is actually located in the silicon valley of Toronto, Waterloo.
Fuelled by the top tech university in Canada, the place is connecting young tech startups to a global community through its Google entrepreneurs program.
Proof of its success, many corporates join the corporate innovation program to replicate lean startup methodology and connect with dynamic entrepreneurs.
